Biodegradable packaging

We have worked hard to create fully biodegradable packaging, even the tape we use is made from brown kraft paper! It’s really important to us to keep our footprint small and look after our planet, so once you’ve unwrapped your new mat, don’t forget to recycle or compost your packaging! Thank you.

Yoga mat care & washing instructions

With the environment at the heart of everything we do, we've created one of the most durable yoga mats on the market.

To help your mat last as long as possible we recommend avoiding direct sunlight. To ensure your mat lasts as long as possible, follow our top tips below.

To wash your mat:

For a quick clean by hand: use a damp soapy cloth and rub lightly over the surface of the mat and rinse with water. Do not clean your mat with bleach; do not use abrasive pads or similar.

1. Lift the mat by grabbing the centre of the printed side of the mat.

2. Place in the washing machine, pushing the centre of mat in first so that the printed side faces outwards.

3. Wash on a cool, short wash, 30°C (86°F) with a mild, non-bio detergent - hang to dry; avoid placing directly on radiators.

Do not tumble dry. Do not leave in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as fading and/or discoloration may occur.

Keep your mat fresh by simply wiping all over with a soft damp cloth and you're good to go!

Over time, oils from our skin can temporarily reduce the grip of the Onyx mats.

To renew: use a small amount of dish soap diluted with lots of water on a non-abrasive sponge or cloth; rub lightly over the surface of the mat and rinse with water.

Do not clean your mat with bleach; do not use abrasive pads or similar. Do not machine wash. Do not leave in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as fading and/or discoloration may occur.

The Form Grid

The iconic Form Grid technology on our mats is original and unique to Form.

The Form Grid has been designed and tested to precision to improve alignment and achieve consistency during your workouts. We encourage you to make the grid your own and use it your way, but some techniques to try include:

Alignment

Cat/cow: Place your tummy button over the centre of the mat and use the long centre line of the grid to ensure your hands and feet are equidistant from your centre to achieve balance.

Warrior 1/2: Position your feet on the long centre line running across your mat to ensure that your front foot is perfectly aligned with you back foot - no more imaginary lines needed!

Consistency

Plank: Place your forearms along the triangular shape at the outer edge of the mat, and keep your body aligned with the long, central line for a consistent plank position.

Push-ups: Use line intersections to place your hands during push-ups, making sure they are equidistant from from each other, for more consistent movement and measurable improvement.
